Above & Beyond
Jonathan Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamaki formed trance group Above & Beyond in 2000, when producer Tony McGuinness asked Grant and Siljamaki to help him remix β€Homeβ€, by Chakra. Their remix reached no1 in the UK club charts after being played by Pete Tong.
Their remixes and collaborations include artists that range from pop queen Madonna to the legendary Jeff Buckley. In 2004 they were voted Mix of the Year by the listeners of Radio One and in 2008 the groups single "Home" won Best Underground Dance Track at IDMA Awards at the Winter Music Conference.
In June 2011 the band released their second album Group Therapy, which incldued the track "Sun & Moon" featuring Richard Bedford. In October of the same year DJ Magazine announced Above & Beyond had been placed at #5 in their Top 100 DJ's poll.
